Ferguson & D’Arruda has been in this crazy business for thirty years. Our first show was somewhere in central Massachusetts where our grand total came to zero. We persevered.

Our first shop opened in Adamsville, Little Compton RI in 1975.  We sold a lot and learned a lot (mostly that, at the time, neither of us were really shop keeper material!).

We closed the shop two years later, discovered better antiques shows – Russell Carrell, Betty Forbes/ Linda Turner, NHADA – and realized we could actually sell antiques and keep body and soul together! And we’ve been doing both ever since.

Our entry into Show Promotion came ten years ago when a dealer friend asked if we’d be interested in managing the Little Compton Antiques Show. We said “sure…how much work can it be?”

We found out.

Ferguson & D'Arruda now manage seven antiques shows: the Mount Hope Farm GARDEN & ANTIQUES FAIR in Bristol RI, The Little Compton Antiques Show at Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton RI, the Newport Antiquest Festival at Fort Adams in Newport RI, - a new Show - The Tiverton 4 Corners Antiques Show in Tiverton RI, The Golden Ball Tavern Antiques Show in Weston Massachusetts, Antiques & Garden Elements in Darien CT, and The East Hampton Antiques Show in East Hampton NY!

We also have a “general line” open shop at 409 Wickenden Street in Providence RI that’s normally open Tuesday- Saturday from 11:30 – 5. If coming from a distance please call ahead at 401-273-5550.
